Welcome to Mer Con!

You are a merperson attending the annual MerCon. MerCon is a 4 day event. Everyday each merperson brings seashells from their respective seas to trade and make a necklace that expresses their best self, to be shown off at the culminating Mer Ball. 

Welcome to Mercon is an edularp designed for groups of up to 12 people that will give players the opportunity to practice communication around defining boundaries, practicing consent, and saying no.

Players: 10-12

Ages: 13+ (can be adapted for younger people) 

After playing this game, participants will be able to: 

• Determine personal boundaries 
• Assert personal boundaries 
• Receive an unaligned boundary with empathy and acceptance 

Debrief questions will allow participants to reflect on the social implications of boundary setting and the somatic qualities within boundary setting and receiving.
